Confirmation & Payment Policies

Reservation Deposit

For FITs, Groups, and Charters, a non-refundable 30% deposit of the invoice total is required within 8 business days from the booking date. Only when this deposit is received, the booking is considered confirmed. If no deposit is received within 8 business days, the spaces on hold will be released.
 

Final Payment

Final payment (balance) must be completed at least 65 days prior to the cruise departure date for FITs and 125 days prior to the cruise departure date for groups and charters. If the payment is not received by this deadline, spaces can be offered to other travelers.
 

Cancellation Policies

For FITs:

  • Cancellations made 65 or more days prior to the cruise departure date, only the deposit will be withheld.
  • Cancellations made between 64 - 0 days before the cruise departure date, full payment will be withheld.
     

For Groups and Charters:

  • Cancellations made 126 or more days prior to the cruise departure date, only the deposit will be withheld.
  • Cancellations made between 125 - 0 days before the cruise departure date, a penalty of 100% will apply.


 

Price Increment

 

Any increments in fuel, airport taxes, etc. above 2% from the cost of the cruise, will be covered by the passenger as a Fuel Surcharge to be announced by us.
 

Additional Information & Travel Insurance

 

All reservations, modifications, and/or cancellations must be sent to your sales representative via email. No verbal confirmations, modifications, or cancellations will be accepted. Please note, rates and policies are subject to change without prior notice. In case of changes in policies all confirmed bookings as well as new ones will be readjusted accordingly.
 

We strongly recommend passengers purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy for protection from any potential loss before/during your trip. Our company will not be responsible for any financial disappointment caused by reasons beyond our control and no refunds or partial refunds will be given for late cancellations or no shows.
 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • Deposits/Total payments should be received on our bank account on the dates according to the above mentioned policy.
  • Penalty fees for cancellations will automatically be discounted from deposits/total payments.
  • Any administrative costs for cancellations/refunds should be covered by the tour operator or travel agent.
  • We strongly recommend you pre-purchase travel insurance.
  • If we do not receive the deposits/total payments according to the above mentioned policy we hold the right to cancel your reservation.
  • We will only accept cancellations in writing sent by e-mail or fax.
  • We are not responsible for lost, damaged, delayed, stolen baggage, missing articles or any costs incurred to the passenger as a result of the above. Baggage is the sole responsibility of the airline. In the event that your baggage is lost, damaged, stolen, articles missing, please contact the airline representative before leaving the airport. Failure to do so will invalidate any claim you may have against the airline.
  • In case luggage needs to be transported to the Galapagos Islands all costs should be covered by the airline or the passengers. We won't cover any of these costs.
